I have been volunteering to help the Sea Turtle Monitoring Network here on St. Kitts, so every Thursday morning, I walk one of the beaches at 6am looking for struggling baby turtles that may have hatched the night before and haven't made it to the water. Brad wasn't the only one who left at the end of last semester...our adorable kitty Lladra had to move back to the US as well. For my job with Ross, I am required to live in the residence halls, but pets are not allowed here, so we were told she had to go. They let us keep her for Cory's 3rd semester in our on campus apartment because we couldn't find anywhere for her to go on such late notice.

Well, I am back in St. Kitts again. I spent about 10 days in the US visiting family back in June and July, and it was awesome. Flying out of St. Kitts, I had a 3 hour layover on St. Maarten. Every Sunday various teams from Ross play 5v5 on small fields. Here is some footage of our team 'F.C. Rossta' showing off our teamwork skillz. After the craziness of orientation and the opening of the new Campus Living Residences at Ross had settled down a bit, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Fox, took Keith, Treg and I to dinner at Marshall's to say thank you for all of our hard work. We just had a really nice Easter here on St. Kitts. In the morning, we went to a special service put on by the students at school that was held on the beach. We all brought our own towels and sheets, and sat on the sand.
